Frequently asked

The questions owners and crews ask first.

If something is not here, send a note from the contact page. We answer aircraft questions the way we wish detailers had answered ours.

What products do you use on the airframe?+

Every product that touches the aircraft is from Aero Cosmetics. Their chemistry is approved by both Boeing and Airbus for use on commercial and business aircraft. That approval matters because aircraft surfaces are not car surfaces. The wrong solvent eats clear coat. The wrong cleaner pits cabin windows. The wrong residue starts corrosion in panel seams.

Aero Cosmetics is the line the OEMs trust. It is the line we use, on every job, with no substitutions.

Will your products cause corrosion or damage?+

No. That is the entire point of using Aero Cosmetics. The chemistry is formulated for aircraft alloys, painted surfaces, plexiglass, and the sensitive areas around panel seams and rivets. There is no residue that traps moisture, no surfactant that pits windows, no solvent that lifts paint.

If you have had a bad experience with a detailer in the past, the cause was almost always the product. Get the chemistry right and the airframe is safe.

What is a waterless wash and is it really better?+

A waterless wash uses a high-lubricity product applied directly to the surface, then lifted away with a soft microfiber. It encapsulates dust and grit so the towel pulls debris off the paint without dragging it across the finish.

On the ramp it is better because there is no water hookup needed, no runoff to manage, and no chance of water sitting in seams or pooling in inlets. On the finish it is better because there are fewer scratching opportunities and a cleaner final sheen.

Do you come to the aircraft, or do we bring it to you?+

We come to the aircraft. Hangar, FBO ramp, transient parking, MRO bay. We work where the aircraft is.

Where are you based and where do you service?+

We are based in Boise, Idaho, and we service the entire Treasure Valley. Boise Air Terminal (BOI), Nampa, Caldwell, and the surrounding fields. Because we are local, we already have working relationships with every private terminal in the area, which means ramp access and timing are predictable instead of negotiated.

For aircraft based outside the Treasure Valley, travel is arranged on request.

Can you handle rush or emergency service?+

Yes. Same-day rush service is available across the Treasure Valley. We can usually get a crew to the airframe within an hour. Pre-flight emergency cleans for last-minute boarding, after-hours service for early departures, and overnight resets are all on the menu.

Call when the schedule shifts. We move.

How often should we book the maintenance package?+

Best answer is after every leg, or at least every flight day. The Post-Flight Maintenance package is built around that cadence. Dust, water-spotting, and bug strikes are easier to remove the same day they land than they are after a week.

For aircraft that fly less often, a monthly maintenance wash with a quarterly Concours Reset is a reasonable rhythm.

What is in the Concours Reset that is not in the maintenance package?+

Concours Reset is a full deep clean. It includes the deep exterior clean, the two-stage body polish, carpet cleaning by hot-water extraction, carpet shampoo, targeted stain removal, and a full bright-work polish on every chrome and polished-alloy surface. It is what you book when the aircraft needs to look new again, not just clean.

The maintenance package is intentionally lean. It is the recurring touch that prevents Concours Reset days from becoming correction days.

Can you handle stains from food, wine, ink, or makeup?+

Yes. Stain removal is included in Concours Reset and available a la carte. Tell us what hit the carpet or upholstery, when, and whether anyone has tried to clean it. The earlier we get to a stain, the cleaner the lift.

How long does a service take?+

The Post-Flight Maintenance package is built for fast turns. The exact time depends on aircraft size and condition. The Concours Reset is a deeper day on the ground, and the timeline depends on what the aircraft needs. We give you a window with the quote.

What aircraft sizes do you service?+

Light, midsize, super-midsize, and heavy private jets. From the smaller cabin classes through the long-range heavies. If the airframe is your private aircraft, we work on it.

Do you offer pricing on the site?+

Not yet. Pricing depends on aircraft size, current condition, location, and how quickly you need it. Send us the details from the contact page and we come back with a fixed quote.

Are you a part of Aero Cosmetics?+

No. Aero Cosmetics is the product line we use. The Boeing and Airbus approvals belong to their chemistry. We are the operator that applies the product to the airframe.
